On A Positive Note: Man Proposes at Ironman Half-Marathon Finish Line

To finish a half marathon, a full marathon and even a five K race is a major feat. Right. Well, thousands of people over on Long Island recently crossed the finish line in the Jones Beach half Iron Man, that's running swimming and biking and they're most definitely winners in our book. Well, two of those competitors are winning both on and off the track. Take a look at the special moment. They became future Mr and Missus at the finish line. You know the saying, the couple that plays together stays together. That's definitely us. We do everything together. It fits. Crossfit fanatics, Matt Hurd. Oh, we just like to push ourselves all the time and Daniella Kitsy, it's always a challenge to a t our relationship is high intensity, but in a good way. Um And it's something new every day. We feel great. You know, we get in better shape, feel better, be able to tackle whatever life throws at us. So last month after a year of training and five mini triathlons, they decided to handle the 70.3 Jones Beach half Iron Man, a tropical storm wet windy. I think it was hailing at one point there was a lot of people getting taken off of hypothermia. A lot of bike accidents that were going on. Yeah, I had planned it since the day we signed up back in January. So when they crossed the finish line with the help of a friend who was holding the ring matt popped the question. I had no idea what was going on. I'm like, where do I go? What, what's going on? You know? And then next thing, you know, he's on his one knee. I wanted to make it special and, you know, I wanna make it special for her. I gave him a hug immediately and a kiss. And of course, the answer is, yes, I loved it. I loved every second. Did he nail it? Was that the perfect place? He, he nailed it. He wanted everybody to see how much he loves me and he made sure that it was true love after the longest race of their lives, the swim bike run, propose and now a marriage they hope will go the distance to.
