Autumn's here in the northern hemisphere, a perfect time to curl up and binge some streaming content! Cheddar recommends the new, ongoing Celebrity Jeopardy!, the Star Wars story of Cassian Andor, revisiting the docuseries that covered the case made famous by the podcast Serial, and a throwback to the movie that brought us Gru and his minions.

Celebrity Jeopardy! - Hulu

Picked by Growth Associate Keara O’Driscoll
If you’re a big Saturday Night Live fan, like me, you might remember the recurring Celebrity Jeopardy! sketch. Finally, we are getting a real, regular version of that amazing concept, and what's even better is that it is coming to Hulu — sort of. The show will air on ABC on Sunday nights, beginning September 25, but will stream on Hulu the following mornings. I love that the shows I grew up watching on TV are evolving with me into the streaming space!

Andor - Disney+

By Digital Editor Mike Nam
A new Star Wars series has dropped on Disney+, and it's somewhat different in terms of tone and substance. The title character, Cassian Andor, was last seen in the film Rogue One, as a member of the rebel team that stole the plans for the original Death Star. The streaming series is set five years before those events, telling the story of a desperate Andor living a hardscrabble existence — at least from what we get in the first episode. So far, the tone is a bit grittier than most projects in the Star Wars universe with the first act opening on Andor entering what's clearly a house of prostitution. It will be interesting to watch how much the show fleshes out this character who gained popularity in a film that was somewhat panned when it came out.

The Case Against Adnan Syed - HBO Max

Picked by Reporter Lawrence Banton
Adnan Syed was release from prison this week after a judge determined evidence that could have helped clear him in the 1999 murder of Hae Min Lee had not been turned over to his attorney. Now it feels very timely to revisit this 2019 docuseries. Over the course of four episodes, viewers watched as investigators, family, and friends attempt to make sense of the crime and the subsequent guilty verdict. Viewers also get a firsthand account of Syed's 2016 appeals process.

Throwback Pick

Despicable Me - Netflix

Picked by Sr. News Editor Dina Ross
Minions: Rise of Gru is still in theaters, but if you're playing catch-up in the series, Netflix has the original films Despicable Me and Despicable Me 2 streaming now. If you think it's just an hour and a half of the little, yellow, big-eyed beings jumping around the screen, I can assure you there is an actual plot. Gru, a human (albeit a despicable one), is forced to rethink his evil plans when some human children come to live with him. It's a sweet and silly series that still holds up if you want to introduce the kids in your life to the storyline that began in 2010.
