The hour is late and autumn approaches! Check out these streaming offerings as the season starts to change: the 31st season of 'Dancing With the Stars,' streaming football on Prime Video, 'Cobra Kai' in its fifth season, horror prequel 'Orphan: First Kill,' and an audio-only treat featuring Batman.

Dancing With the Stars - Season 31 - Disney+

Picked by Growth Associate Keara O’Driscoll
Dancing With the Stars is back for its 31st season but on a new home channel — Disney+. The show will be hosted by Tyra Banks and Alfonso Ribeiro with judges including Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough. And, how can I forget the star-studded cast including my favorite Real Housewife of New Jersey Teresa Giudice! I’m looking forward to seeing this nostalgic classic joining the streaming world and can’t wait to cast my vote!

Thursday Night Football - Amazon Prime

Picked by Sr. News Editor Dina Ross
As an ardent fantasy football fan, this is my time, and now Thursday night on Amazon Prime is my place. The megacompany secured the rights to stream the first game of the week as part of a massive 11-year deal which reportedly has Amazon paying about a billion dollars annually. It could change the way we watch sports, and I guess I and millions of others will be in on the ground floor. What's so different about watching the game on streaming vs. traditional television? I'm not sure, but Amazon is planning to run a one-minute explainer video right before the festivities begin tonight.

Cobra Kai - Season 5 - Netflix

Picked by Digital Editor Mike Nam
The improbable TV series sequel to The Karate Kid continues into its fifth season with Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso finding themselves ousted as martial arts instructors following the shocking conclusion to Season 4 and dealing with a new status quo. The over-the-top series stretches your suspension of disbelief as kids and adults just rumble through Southern California with their various karate styles, but it is endlessly entertaining. The full season is now up for a classic Netflix binge watch.

Orphan: First Kill - Amazon Prime Video

Picked by Cheddar Reporter Alex Vuocolo
Orphan from 2009 is considered one of the better horror flicks from that period, which is why this unexpected sequel has generated some buzz. It's also supposed to be a completely insane rethread of the original premise, which was crazy enough in its own right. Without spoiling too much, I'll just say that a young couple adopts a teenage girl who is not who she says she is. From there, it gets completely bonkers, and the consensus is that the sequel is even more shocking. I'll be checking it out this weekend with a group of people who will appreciate what will hopefully be a good mix of schlocky scares, campy dialogue, and jaw-dropping plot twists.

Batman: The Audio Adventures - HBO Max/ Apple/ Spotify

Picked by Reporter Lawrence Banton
I just found out that this series even existed, but I'm all in. And it's mainly because of how the story is being presented. It's all in the title. It's truly an audio adventure, and for someone who grew up always having a television close by, I feel like this is my chance to see what it was like in the 1930s when families would gather around the radio to listen to their favorite shows. The plot? Well, Batman has officially joined the Gotham City Police Department and now he's out to face crime and corruption head-on, the non-vigilante way. There's a star-studded cast too, including actor Jerry Wright as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Rosario Dawson as Catwoman, Kenan Thompson as Commissioner Gordon, and Seth Meyers as Jack Ryder, to name a few. Catch up on the first season  because Season 2 drops on October 7.
