The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be sharing their side of the story (for the third time) in a new documentary series. Volume I of the two-volume series is streaming on Netflix on Thursday and will follow what led the pair to step away from the royal family. Friends, family, and royal historians also join the series to share their observations of the claims of sabotage and racism that the couple faced with Harry noting that his wife was in a similar position as his late mother Diana once was, saying that he "doesn’t want history to repeat itself."

PSA for reality TV fans: there are a LOT of Jersey Shore spin-offs, and one that was completely off of my radar until last week was Rio Shore. Take everything you love and hate about MTV's notorious long-running series, add some Portuguese, and you have some serious drama. It's almost wild how closely the storylines follow the original: gorgeous young adults living by the beach together, partying hard, and trying to find love in and around Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I recommend a Caipirinha to go with this streaming marathon.

I know this might come as a shock to some of you, blasphemous even, but I stand by the fact that the third entry in the Home Alone franchise is just as classic as the first two. So, there's no Kevin McCallister, but instead, Alex Pruitt is the young protagonist of this film. It's much the same story, except he's defending his home from a few international criminals looking to steal back a very important microchip. The hijinks are on 10 in this movie, and afterwards you can debate whether or not the film is a Christmas flick. There were presents involved during the winter, so I am going to say yes (although Christmas isn't an overwhelming part of this film).

Scott Adkins is the best martial artist/actor working today. So it's a shame that so many ohis movies are all low-budget direct-to-video action films with goofy titles like Accident Man: Hitman's Holiday. But don't let the Blockbuster-discount-bin vibes turn you away. This movie has the best fight scenes of 2022 by a mile, and even if the story doesn't pull you in, you'll be riveted for most of its runtime by the nearly endless series of brutal hand-to-hand combat sequences. Bringing it all together is the 46-year-old Adkins, who hasn't lost a step. He's part ballerina, part kung fu warrior, and part wise-talking Brit, and Accident Man puts all three qualities to maximum use. Available to rent on Amazon Prime Video.  

The elaborate radio play made for podcasts is back, featuring the Dark Knight and his cast of weird villains — including the introduction of fan favorite Harley Quinn to the series! The voice talents of Jeffrey Wright, Brent Spiner, Gillian Jacobs, Rosario Dawson, and more bring to life a grimly hilarious Gotham City for its second season. "A fan of the series came up to me and said it's like listening to an episode of 'SNL' that's just dedicated to Batman," Bobby Moynihan, the Saturday Night Live alum who voices the Penguin, told Cheddar News. The podcast will probably follow the same formula of laughs and chills this time around but look out for an "extreme cliffhanger" to end this season, per series creator Dennis McNicholas.

Some trends cycle in and out of popularity over the decades, but culture journalist Avery Trufelman noticed that in the U.S., "one particular trend, against all odds, seems to come back over and over again." In the recently completed third season of her fashion history podcast, Articles of Interest, Trufelman explores the surprisingly diverse and continually influential world of preppy clothes.
